Family Hubs half term activities

Join us at our Cumberland Family Hubs for half term fun sessions.

Sessions will be packed with fun, games and family friendly activities. All ages welcome.

We are providing activities for toddlers, children and young people including:

  • arts and crafts
  • activities for young people
  • play spaces
  • games

There will also be snacks available during the day.

Family Hub team members will be around for advice and guidance.

Monday 26 May

Find us at Upperby Gala in Carlisle, for a family day out.

Location: Hammond's Park

Time: 1pm to 4pm

Fun sessions at the Family Hubs

All fun sessions are for children and young people aged from 0 to 19 years (25 years with SEND).

Tuesday 27 May

Cumberland Family Hub: Millom at 10am to midday

Cumberland Family Hub: Millom at 1pm to 3pm (for young people aged 11 years and over, activities include mindfulness, Hub2U, music, board games and crafts)

Cumberland Family Hub: Maryport at 10am to midday

Thursday 29 May

Cumberland Family Hub: Morton, Carlisle at 10am to midday

Cumberland Family Hub: Morton, Carlisle Sports Day for Young People at 1pm to 4pm (for young people aged 11 to 17 years). For more information, visit the Sports Day for Young People page.

Family Hub on the Harbour at 10am to 12:30pm

Cumberland Family Hub: Wigton 10am to midday

Friday 30 May

Find us at Vulcan Park, Workington at 11am to 4pm (activities include arts and crafts, and our Family Hub team members will be around for advice and support)

Cumberland Family Hub: Longtown, Carlisle for young people aged 11 years and over. Activities include a Stop Motion Animation workshop focusing on Dinosaurs and messy arts and crafts with clay by Tullie House.

Things you need to know:

  • free entry to all activities - just turn up and have fun
  • no booking required (unless stated)
  • all venues are accessible
  • all children must be accompanied by an adult
