Baby Week is coming to Cumberland – 14–20 November 2025

We’re excited to welcome Baby Week to Cumberland for the very first time! 

Running from 14 to 20 November, Baby Week is a celebration of babies, toddlers, parents and carers – with a packed programme of free events and activities across Family Hubs and partner organisations. 

This year’s theme is Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby, focusing on the importance of supporting families to give every child the best start in life. 

Families can enjoy a wide range of sessions including: 

• Baby massage and sensory play
• Rhyme time and music sessions
• Fitness and wellbeing activities for parents
• Social walks and meet-ups
• Information stalls and support from local services 

The week kicks off with a launch event at Chances Family Hub (behind Morton Manor, Wigton Road, Carlisle) on Thursday 14 November, 1–3pm. 

Everyone is welcome – come along to find out what’s on, meet other families, and enjoy some fun activities. Whether you're a new parent, expecting a baby, or supporting someone who is – Baby Week is a great opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate.
