Funded childcare for 9 months to 4 year old's

30 hours early learning for working families.

Eligible working families can now apply for 30 hours of childcare from the term after your child turns 9 months until they reach school age.

The government funds up to 1,140 hours, this works out as 30 hours a week if:

  • your child takes up the childcare during term time (38 weeks)
  • you take fewer hours over more weeks in the year (check with your childcare provider)

When you receive your code, take this to your chosen childcare provider so they can claim the funding.
